I grew up in Neptune, New Jersey. I consider myself Chirish, a hybrid of Chinese and Irish.

I went to college at Pace University, downtown Manhattan, New York City a couple of blocks from the Word Trade Center.  The best experience of my college years was the semester I spent in Madrid, Spain during my junior year.  It confirmed for me that traveling, seeing and meeting others was the best experience there was as well as bringing those stories home to share with friends and family. I decided I wanted to make the best photos possible to capture what I saw and felt.

I graduated from Pace with a bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in finance, but my hobby of photography became my passion, thanks to the Nikon SLR camera my Dad gave me.  I knew that I wanted to take photography seriously and I headed out to San Diego where I have been since 2008.

I enjoy making photos of just about everything.  My eye is always attracted to different light and patterns.  I really enjoy photographing people, especially those whose face has a story to tell.  In the time I have been in San Diego I have had photos published in Surfer Magazine, The Surfers Path Magazine, ESPN.com, Surfline.com, San Diego News Network, San Diego Reader, Inter Press Service as well as others. Thanks for checking out my work.
